Shackleton chosen as Brand of Tomorrow
Shackleton is among 12 British brands selected for Walpole’s 2020 Brands of Tomorrow programme, which aims to promote and develop the British luxury sector.
We are delighted to share the news that Shackleton has been chosen as one of the Walpole 2020 Brands of Tomorrow. Founded in 1992, Walpole is the voice of British luxury, promoting and developing a sector worth £48 billion to the UK economy. In being selected for this programme, which was launched in 2007, Shackleton is recognised as a brand with an exciting future within the luxury sector, both in the UK and internationally.
Shackleton is in great company – alongside the likes of Suitcase, Matthew Cox, Anabela Chan and Simpson’s Wine Estate – and is looking forward to working with the Walpole mentors as it strives towards its mission of becoming the world’s best performance outerwear brand.
“It’s encouraging to be selected for a programme that has previously helped our lodestars Orlebar Brown, Nyetimber and Bremont to future success,” said co-founder Martin Brooks. “We believe Shackleton has the potential to be a world-leading luxury performance brand; the Brands of Tomorrow programme is a serious boost. There is also a beautiful connection in being a brand of the future, while continuing to be inspired by an enduring figure of the past.”
