THE WORLD'S WARMEST JACKET
ENGINEERED FOR EXTREMES
The new Titan down jacket is the world’s warmest jacket for its weight, which falls within the 1kg maximum required for extreme exploration.
Named after the coldest place on earth, the Titan Dome on the Antarctic plateau, the Titan was co-developed and tested by polar explorer Louis Rudd MBE, the first Briton and second overall to traverse the Antarctic continent solo and unassisted.
Trusted by professionals, it has been supplied to the UK Ministry of Defence and worn on numerous Shackleton Polar Challenges, cementing its claim as the definitive expedition-grade down jacket.
TITAN EXPEDITION DOWN JACKET
To create a critical & highly efficient piece of survival equipment for unsupported Antarctic expeditions - designed for stationary periods in extreme -40°C conditions and 150 mph winds.
Every detail should prioritise warmth, durability, and usability in emergencies. The jacket must be as lightweight as possible but also abrasion-resistant, easily packable, quick to don with gloves, and capable of sealing in heat over full layering systems.
The Titan fabric is constructed with a 2-layer Pertex Shield membrane and Pertex Diamond Fuse ripstop fabric.
The Pertex Shield membrane is designed specifically for challenging conditions where weight and packability are a priority. It is lightweight, water & windproof but also soft, making it an ideal choice for the Titan.
Pertex Diamond Fuse is a technology that creates exceptional durability and abrasion resistance by weaving yarns with a unique, diamond-shaped filament structure.
The interlocking design delivers twice the abrasion resistance of fabrics woven with conventional yarns, enhancing long-term durability and preserving the fabric’s integrity and stability even in the extremes.
