THE JIMMY CAROLL EDIT
Jimmy Carroll is well accustomed to taking on the challenge in pursuit of exploring the furthest reaches of earth, otherwise inaccessible through traditional travel. His experience is as varied as it is extreme, from rowing the Atlantic to managing the largest ever medical-research expedition conducted on Mount Everest. As the co-founder of Pelorus he continues to explore, seeking out unique locations for clients. Here Jimmy talks through his Shackleton essentials when out on adventures.
"Having worn the Haakon throughout Iceland while exploring some of its most remote areas I can say first hand that it’s an excellent choice for anyone who needs a high-quality, durable jacket for extreme weather conditions. "
"Whether I’m in particularly harsh conditions and require another layer or need a lightweight outer layer when on the move the Ross provides both versatility and an impressive warmth to weight ratio."

"I’m a big fan of the contemporary design of the classic explorer jacket which becomes a useful companion when travelling in warmer environments that are prone to rain. The fact that it’s made in London is what makes it even more appealing."
