Windproof, breathable and filled with RDS-certified 850-fill goose down, Shackleton’s Antarctic expertise is clearly evident in the Haakon’s DNA. Traditional high-end features combine with impressive specifications like the 100% recycled outer shell fabric, soft to the touch but engineered to withstand wind and snow. Mechanical stretch also increases freedom of movement to ensure comfort when active.

Versatility is central to the Haakon’s design with velcro fastenings, waist tension and underarm zip vents all allowing for quick and effective parka optimisation. The Haakon (A.L.S.) also is part of the Shackleton Adaptive Layering System and is designed specifically to allow any A.L.S. down items to zip into it for a bespoke connection that provides seamless protection from the elements with unrivalled comfort.

Sleeve patch pocket, micro fleece lined hand warming pockets and large drop pockets offer practicality whilst contributing to a bold and functional geometric aesthetic.
