Arabian Desert Skills Challenge

A cultural education as much as a technical one

Experience authentic bedouin camps under the stars to stunning desert hotels.

Arabian Desert Skills Challenge will take place in the UAE and Oman and will involve travelling by camel, foot, SUV and swim-trek.

The Challenge starts at the luxurious Qasr al Sarab hotel in the world-famous Empty Quarter – the greatest continuous sea of sand on Earth. Here you’ll learn the essentials of desert travel, navigation and survival. Then you’ll transfer to Oman to put your skills into practice in a three-stage journey: a desert traverse with Bedouins, a swim-trek through water-filled, canyon-like wadis and finally challenging hikes in the spectacular mountainous jebels.
