Shackleton customers have long asked us for a lightweight shell jacket. One that delivers the same levels of high performance, day-long comfort and exceptional style they’re used to from our parkas and down jackets.
After years of refinement, the Markham Shell is here for you to wear and rely on, wherever in the world.
Technical features include a 20,000 HH water resistant 3-layer performance shell, aqua guard zips, adjustable storm cuffs and back-yoke, laser-cut ventilation. Highly breathable and with maximum wind-proofing, this easily packable jacket has been designed, specified and tested to deliver serious on-mountain performance, ensuring flawless everyday use all year round. A RECCO reflector has been built into the three-way adjustable hood for ski season.
Considerable time and effort has been taken to create a shell that’s actually great to wear. The Markham’s comfort and refinement is delivered by its whisper-quiet, soft-touch face fabric and laser-perforated micro-suede neck and chin-guard. Unlike most crackly waterproofs, the inner fabric is warm and soft to the touch. Made from a bio-nylon blend with a C0 DWR finish means the Markham has sustainability credentials to match its performance expertise. The carefully designed gusset construction ensures optimal movement. A sleek and understated stealth-inspired visual is combined with the practicality of four huge exterior-accessed pockets, one internal pocket and hat/glove mesh storage.
