The Haakon Tactical Down Parka is the embodiment of the Shackleton mission and represents the pinnacle of technical innovation with an unparalleled sensory experience.

The Shackleton design team have built an expedition-grade parka that simultaneously protects you in the field and provides a refined feel that instills confidence from the moment you put it on.

Warm, windproof, breathable and filled with RDS-certified 850 fill power, Shackleton’s Antarctic expertise is clearly evident in the Haakon’s DNA. Engineered from 100% recycled 3-layer fabric, it offers an impressive 20,000mm (H/H) waterproofing that is luxuriously soft to the touch but engineered to withstand prolonged wet snow, wind and rain. The shell fabric’s mechanical stretch increases freedom of movement, which ensures comfort when active and on the move.

Under the shell, insulation comes from certified responsibly sourced 850-fill power European goose down that delivers exceptional warmth, to keep you feeling invincible when the elements battering the outer shell.

Measurements:

Chest

Outline your chest with a tape measure and breathe normally. Notice the variations as you breathe and record the highest number.

Waist

Place yourself in front of a mirror with your
waist clearly visible. Slightly tilting the torso to the side, visualise the formation of a crease, which indicates the position of the natural waist. Wrap the waist.

Hips

Outline with the tape measure the "wider" region below the waist, running parallel to the highest part of the glutes.
