On the edge of the Hardangervidda and Hallingskarvet National Parks; Finse, Norway is a truly unique location and is steeped in polar history. It is right here that the polar greats of Amundsen, Scott and The Boss, Sir Ernest Shackleton, came nere to train for their own expeditions. This Challenge contains all the elements of a true polar expedition: four days and nights in the polar wilderness enduring freezing temperatures, isolation, skiing, pulk-hauling, navigation and camping out under the stars. Develop advanced expedition skills and increase your resilience in this magical polar world. However challenging, your experience will end with an evening in front of a roaring fire and a warm bed in the iconic Hotel Finse 1222. This wondrous location is only accessible by the snowtrain from Oslo or Bergen, considered to be one of the most scenic rail routes in the world.

Head into the very snowy wilderness that Norwegian polar explorer, Roald Amundsen, described as a "mini-Antarctica"; ski across frozen lakes, ascend glaciers and spend the night camping on the ice with just a tent as your shelter.
