COURAGE IS CALLING
Crisis and adversity are not new.
Once we hear the story of what happened in Antarctica on Shackleton’s 1914-17 expedition, it stays with us forever. It’s a story of leadership, grit, camaraderie and optimism in the face of seemingly insurmountable adversity.
It’s also a story that continues to inspire us today in all walks of life. Courage isn’t just for polar explorers from the Heroic Age. It exists within every one of us - an almost endless resource that we can all cultivate and rely on. If we choose to.
Few of us are about to spend two years staring down death in Antarctica, but we all face our own challenges. We can choose to give in or we can fight to overcome them, optimistic that we will find a way through.
If you share our viewpoint, you will enjoy this short film on the nature of courage in today’s world. You might recognise much of the script.
The best of courage to you.
