Develop the technical skills required to operate in a winter alpine environment and apply them on an expedition across the Sunnmøre mountains.

Based in the mountainous heart of the world-renowned Norwegian fjords, this Challenge is an introduction to exploration into the mountains in the wintertime.
From the haven of the Hotel Union Øye, the team will learn a range of techniques before putting them into practice on an expedition across the mountains.

Learn to move across snow-covered mountain terrain using snowshoes, crampons, ice axes and snow anchors. Master mountain weather forecasting, avalanche awareness and navigation in the snow.
