Geordie Mackay-Lewis served as a Captain in the British Army, deploying twice to Afghanistan before setting up the luxury travel company Pelorus. Through his more recent career he has planned and led numerous adventures and yacht expeditions around the world and has a passion for unearthing the lesser-known regions of the planet. He is a fellow of the Royal Geographic Society, a winter mountain leader, advanced diver, skier and paragliding pilot, meaning he knows exactly how important it is to be correctly equipped For The Challenge.
