Join a 10-day Svalbard Expedition

Shackleton has partnered with Natural World Safaris for a 10-day expedition in Svalbard in May 2020, led by renowned photographer Martin Hartley. Quote 'Shackleton' when booking and receive £500 to spend on our apparel.

Located deep within the Arctic Circle, the glaciated Svalbard archipelago comprises icebergs, fjords, snowy islands and unspoilt wilderness. Shackleton has teamed up with wildlife specialists Natural World Safaris for a 10-day expedition in this remarkable region in May 2020, led by renowned photographer Martin Hartley. Martin recently worked with Shackleton on the Frank Hurley Photographer's Jacket, a world-first development with Leica Camera AG (you can read all about the collaboration and watch the video we produced in Iceland on our site).

Guests will be based onboard MV Kinfish, a comfortable expedition ship, enabling freedom of movement depending on the conditions and providing exclusive experiences within some of the most dramatic landscapes on earth. Guests will explore the Svalbard Archipelago in search of wildlife, while Martin Hartley offers his expert guidance.

Guests can expect to cruise past towering cliffs populated by colossal seabird colonies, witness huge numbers of walrus basking on the beaches, and (hopefully) watch polar bears as they hunt for seals on ice floes.

What’s more, quote Shackleton when booking and you’ll receive £500 to spend on Shackleton outerwear and knitwear (offer ends 15.01.20).
